Archetypes: Difference between revisions

Overview

The Archetype is the most fundamental choice made while creating a character. It determines which powers are - and aren't - available for the lifetime of the character. Archetype, along with origin and Primary Power Sets and Secondary Power Sets, cannot be changed after character creation.

Each archetype will play slightly different than all other archetypes, even archetypes that utilize the same power sets. More information on an archetype's "style" can be found on each archetype page.

Archetypes

The following sixteen archetypes are available to play:

The following Epic Archetype was cancelled during its development phase, and thus was never released.

Primalist

Praetorian Archetypes

All archetypes except the Peacebringer, Warshade, Arachnos Soldier, and Arachnos Widow are available to begin in Praetoria for all players.

Historical

Prior to Sunset a player needed to reach level 20 before they could make Peacebringer, Warshade, Arachnos Soldier, and Arachnos Widow.
Guardians were added with Game Update 2
