Character, I sacrificed half my life just because I was born different from other people. Every Seer in this city is forced to do the same. Help me put an end to this madness!

Katie Douglas is no longer part of the Seer Network, but these other Seers are. Removing these Seers from the Network would leave the PPD blind and extremely vulnerable. In their absence the Destroyers and Syndicate could wreck untold havoc on the city, endangering many lives.

Character. Don't you recognize me? I am Mother, or, if you prefer, Praetor Tilman is fine.

I'm afraid our conversation cannot be more pleasant given the circumstances, but I see you've handled the nasty little issue with one of my dear daughters here. Really, I must apologize for the mess she pulled you into. I think we can both agree that my little Seers can be such troublemakers when they aren't properly supervised.

Let it be no more bother to you, Character, Mother is here, so you won't need to deal with this any further. I'll make sure my girl is kept in line and made to understand the importance of doing as she is told. As for you, I'll make sure you are well rewarded.

  • I didn't do this for you, Tilman. I know what you do to these women.
Praetor Tilman's sly smile curves downward dangerously.
I don't think I like your tone, +++ Missing Information +++ / little miss! Do you truly understand, what I do? I am the Seers. They cannot exist without my guidance. And without them, Praetoria would spiral into chaos.
Praetor Tilman seethes for a moment and then tucks a strand of purple hair behind her hair and composes herself.
I apologize, Character, I'm sure you didn't mean to upset me so. I simply get agitated when people insinuate that I would ever seek to harm one of my girls.
  • Maybe not today, Tilman. But one day, I'll make sure you pay for your crimes. I promise.
Praetor Tilman maintains her aloof composure, letting your words wash over her with a smirk.
I see. Well I'll be looking forward to that day then, Character.
Tilman's eyes narrow into thin slits and she scowls.
But until that day, remember this. Mother is watching you.
