Introductions
Contact Introduced By
None, Rick Davies is the initial contact for Technology based heroes in Atlas Park.
Contact Introduces
- Single contact option
- I think it's time you met another contact of mine.
Level 5-9
Have you ever met Paula Dempsey? She's a real pistol and has a great deal of information on the Clockwork. You'll like her, and I'll bet she'll like you as well. Paula hangs out in Kings Row.
Paula has high standards, but I have no doubt you will live up to them, Character.
You should talk to Maurice Feldon some time. He keeps track of anything that's going on in the science world. He's particularly interested in the Clockwork King. Maurice's company is in Galaxy City so you can usually find him there.
Maurice may be a little reckless, but he is very intelligent and he means well.
Tony Kord is a good person to know. He knows what's happening in the city, especially where the Clockwork are concerned, and he'll often suggest solutions. Tony's company is in Atlas Park, so he usually hangs out there.
Deal honestly with Tony if you want his help.
Information
Technology Hero Liaison
Rick was one of the first heroes in Paragon City to use powered armor. He fought the Rikti under the code name Horatio, but the injuries he received ended his career as a hero. Never one to rest on his laurels, Rick began working with DATA, the Department of Advanced Technological Applications. DATA is a section of the Federal Bureau of Super-powered Affairs. Rick threw himself into helping new heroes with their struggles against Paragon City's many criminals. His sister, Susan, is also a hero liaison. Rick loves tinkering, therefore the Clockwork are of the utmost interest to him. Rick recently married his long-time girlfriend, Caitlin Murray-Davies.
Prior to Introduction
Try talking to Active Contact instead.
Initial Contact
This city needs her Technology heroes more than ever. You look like you're up to it, Character.
Greeting
- Ready to fight the good fight? There's work to be done.
- I think I can steer you in the direction of some trouble.
Too Busy
I appreciate your enthusiasm, but you can only do so much. You should complete some of your other tasks.
Too Low Level
Check back when you reach Security Level 4. I may have something for you then.
No More Missions
There's no more work for you here. Try your other contacts.

- Inspirations (all)
- Level 1 Training Enhancements (100% base costs)
You are doing an excellent job, Character. I think I can trust you with some more difficult assignments. You'll need to be well-prepared.
Missions (Level 1+)
Retrieve the sprocket piece from Sarah Peters
Briefing
DATA, the Department of Advanced Technological Applications, wants to understand the Clockwork better. One of my contacts in the field, Sarah Peters, has a critical piece from one of their sprocket units. Would you retrieve the Clockwork sprocket piece from Sarah?
Mission Acceptance
Thanks for helping me out with this, Character, I'll owe you one.
Unnecessary Solicitation
I promised my superiors that sprocket piece ASAP, Character.
Mission Objective(s)
- Get piece from Sarah Peters
Briefing
Sorry, Character, there must have been a mix up. I just handed that piece to a hero from SERAPH. I do have a tip on some Clockwork locations where you might be able to find another one. Start with this office. It shut down after the Rikti attacks, and it's a prime location for a Clockwork base. If that doesn't pan out, there's a warehouse you can try.
Defeat all Clockwork in office
Unnecessary Solicitation
If Sarah says you should check out that office, it's probably a good lead.
Mission Objective(s)
The faint whirring and clanking of gears sets your teeth on edge.
- Defeat all Clockwork in office
You defeated the Clockwork but failed to locate a piece that meets the technical specifications.
Defeat all robots in warehouse
Unnecessary Solicitation
If all goes well, you'll find the Clockwork part in that abandoned warehouse.
Mission Objective(s)
The mechanical sounds of Clockwork echo off the barren walls.
- Defeat all robots in warehouse
You found an acceptable piece from one of the Clockwork sprockets.
Enemies
Sprocket piece | |
This critical piece of a Clockwork sprocket should prove useful to the scientists at DATA. They are always looking for new technology to examine and adapt. |
Debriefing
Solid work on this, Character. I really appreciate your determination. You are going to do just fine here in Paragon City.
Learn about the fallen heroes
Briefing
I think you need to learn about the fallen heroes of Paragon City. This town has seen a lot of misery, but it's also seen some truly remarkable heroes.
Mission Acceptance
Go read the plaque under the statue of Atlas.
Unnecessary Solicitation
You need to read the plaque under Atlas' statue.
Mission Objective(s)
- Read Atlas' plaque
You have learned some of the history of Paragon City.
Debriefing
This statue commemorates the heroic death of the mighty Atlas. On December 7th, 1941, the Forces of the original 5th Column launched a surprise attack on Paragon City. Atlas single-handedly fought back a large group of advancing 5th Column soldiers, and prevented them from gaining a foothold beyond Independence Port. His brave sacrifice held the area until the Freedom Phalanx arrived and drove back the invaders.
Debriefing
The fallen heroes gave their lives fighting for the safety of this great city. By ensuring that safety, you honor their memory.
Check out the office and defeat any Clockwork you find
Briefing
I have an unconfirmed report of Clockwork invading the offices of Grauman Technologies. I get about ten reports like this a day, but most are false leads. Still, you can't be too careful. Those little mechanical horrors will walk away with anything metal that isn't bolted down. I saw one walking down the street with a bed frame the other day. Would you check out the office and defeat any Clockwork you find?
Mission Acceptance
Watch out for the big Clockwork robot called Gearshift. I hear it can be dangerous.
Unnecessary Solicitation
Have you checked out that office yet?
Mission Objective(s)
The grinding of Clockwork gears tells you that this office invasion is no false alarm!
- Defeat Gearshift and its guards
- Learn cause of Clockwork attack
You defeated Gearshift and its minions.
Robot parts | |
You found these advanced robot parts in the offices of Grauman Technologies. It seems that the Clockwork robots were trying to destroy them. |

Enemies
Debriefing
Good work, Character. I'm afraid I can't tell you why the Clockwork were trying to destroy those robot parts. Perhaps the Clockwork King fears that someone else will produce better robots than his? If I were him, I wouldn't worry. His creations are remarkable! If only we could figure out how they work!
Check the warehouse for any Clockwork activity
Briefing
I've had agents in the field all day tracking down Clockwork robots, and we're beginning to figure out where they're coming from. Our data shows two possible locations for their base. Will you check one warehouse for any Clockwork activity? I have another hero investigating the other.
Mission Acceptance
If you find the Clockwork base, please look for any clues to the Clockwork's plans.
Unnecessary Solicitation
The other hero says the warehouse I sent him to was empty. Looks like yours is the right one, so I need you to clear it out.
Mission Objective(s)
You hear the tell-tale sound of Clockwork gears. This must be their base of operations!
- Defeat all robots in warehouse
You cleared the warehouse of Clockwork minions.
Notes on Clockwork robots | |
You copied these notes from a whiteboard in the Clockwork's base of operations. They are unintelligible to you, but they may mean more to a robotics expert. |
Enemies
Debriefing
Great work, Character! These notes you found should help our scientists figure out exactly how the Clockwork operate. With that kind of data, we may be able to defeat them once and for all!
Cull the numbers of the Clockwork menace
Briefing
The Clockwork are using the cover of night to scavenge parts for more mechanical monstrosities. With every support beam and street lamp they take, they put our citizens in grave peril. We need to cull the numbers of the Clockwork menace. If we let them keep scavenging, I'm sure we'll soon be faced with a deadly accident.
Mission Acceptance
Thank you, Character. I can tell that the safety of the populace is of great import to you.
Unnecessary Solicitation
I'm still hearing reports of Clockwork scavengers.
Mission Objective(s)
- Combat Clockwork menace
- Defeat 5 Clockwork
You discouraged the Clockwork from scavenging in Atlas Park.
Enemies
Debriefing
Thanks for helping with that Clockwork problem. We'll see what kind of impact you made tomorrow night.
Missions (Level 4+)
Talk to the Security Chief
Talk to Security Chief
Briefing
I need you to go talk to the Atlas Park Security Chief. He has information about the current situation here in Atlas Park. Your compass will guide you there.
Mission Acceptance
Please listen carefully to the Security Chief. If he has a task for you, it will be very important.
Unnecessary Solicitation
The Security Chief just called again; he really needs your help!
Mission Objective(s)
- Talk to Security Chief
Briefing
Here is a briefing sheet on the situation in Atlas Park. Now get out there and help take out some Hellions. If I were you, I'd try looking for them in the Promenade or Prometheus Park.
Atlas Park briefing | |
Atlas Park is probably the finest place in the city. Clean and beautiful, hustling and bustling, Atlas Park was the first place to be restored after the Rikti War. Of course, the Hellions do cause some problems here and there. They started out as just a street gang, but some of them seem to have acquired pretty unusual abilities. The police can't do much about superpowered thugs; it's up to you Heroes to help out. |
Keep peace in Atlas Park
Unnecessary Solicitation
You should be out fighting Hellions.
Mission Objective(s)
- Keep peace in Atlas Park
- Defeat 5 Hellions
You have defeated 5 Hellions.
Enemies
Debriefing
Well done, Character. With Heroes like you around we have a chance to make Atlas Park safe for everyone.
