Synapse
Overview
Synapse is a hero, a Task Force organizer in Skyway City, and a member of the Freedom Phalanx.
Villains face him as a signature hero in Recluse's Victory as well as in the following missions:
- Discredit Synapse by dealing with the Scrapyarders from Tavish Bell (Level 45-50)
- Defeat Synapse, recover what he stole from Tavish Bell (Level 45-50)
- Destroy Statesman and Freedom Phalanx from Lord Recluse (Level 45-50)
Background
History
Steven Berry was just an average man, until Crey Industries got hold of him. The Crey scientists were testing a number of radical procedures for inducing super powers. Steven, strapped for cash, had heard about the experiments Crey was conducting and their need for test subjects. So he signed up for a few experiments. Little did he know how Crey operates. They strapped him in restraints and blasted him with high doses of electricity for days. All of the power coursing through him amplified the electrical energy in his body, giving him the ability to harness it into super speed and electrical blasts. Synapse escaped Crey's clutches by shorting out the lab where he was kept prisoner. To this day, Crey executives deny any knowledge of the project in which Synapse was an unwilling participant.
Synapse is one of the Surviving Eight, dedicated to helping Paragon City rebuild after the Rikti War. His sidekick is Mynx. He is trying to help her become more disciplined and develop control of her powers.
