Overview

Kinetic Assault is a secondary powerset for Dominators and a primary powerset for Guardian.

"Through manipulation of latent energy present all around you, you create powerful blasts and forceful blows that can prove devastating to your opponents. As you manipulate this energy, you will accumulate impulse. Each stack of impulse grants a scaling recharge buff. Impulse is also used to empower Disrupting Torrent, Kinetic Shockwave, Energetic Strike, and Mass Driver"

Dominator

The Kinetic Assault power set is available as a secondary set for Dominators. The following table shows the level at which each power is available:

Powers

KineticAssault KineticBolt.png Kinetic Bolt

You form the potential energies around you into a small bolt of kinetic energy that you launch at a single target. This bolt causes light smashing and energy damage on impact and reduces their recharge rate and movement speed slightly. The force of the impact can cause the target to suffer additional lethal damage over time. Kinetic Bolt awards 1 stack of Impulse.

GunFu CripplingHookKick.png Crippling Axe Kick

You can perform a Crippling Axe Kick that deals moderate smashing damage, reduces the target's defense, may immobilize, and Slowing their run speed. Crippling Axe Kick may also knock some flying entities out of the sky.

GunFu DualWield.png Dual Wield

Dual Wield fires both pistols in rapid succession at its desired target. This power is slower than Pistols, but deals more damage, and the target may get knocked down by the force of the impact.

GunFu EaglesClaw.png Eagle's Claw

You can perform a devastating kick that can severaly Disorient most opponents. Eagle's Claw has an exceptionally good critical hit capability for Scrappers, better than other Martial Arts attacks, that can sometimes deal double damage. After using Eagle's Claw your damage will be increased for a brief moment for Tankers, allowing the next attack or two to cause additional damage.

You empty the clips of both your pistols in an arc of suppression fire. This attack can blast multiple foes in the affected cone area, and has a small chance of knocking some foes down.

You fire your pistols with deadly precision in a very narrow cone, piercing up to three enemies. Piercing Rounds deals Superior lethal damage and reduces targets' Damage Resistance for a short time.
