Intrepid Informer & Issue 24

In Intrepid Informer 24: Nature Affinity, Phil "Synapse" Zeleski delves deep into Nature Affinity, the new support power set for Defenders, Controllers, Corruptors, and Masterminds. Double XP & Captain Mako

A reminder that a Double XP Weekend kicks off Captain Mako Week, so get plenty of sleep ahead of time! Double XP Weekend runs from 6:00 AM PDT on Friday August 10 through 6:00 AM PDT on Monday, August 13.

Captain Mako will be emerging from the waters to each and every live server, during Captain Mako Week (August 13-20). Show up, hug the shark, and stick around for prizes and temporary titles too. For the complete schedule of live appearances, please see the official announcement.

This Week at the Paragon Market

This week sees 25% of standard XP Boosters, available in packs of 1, 3 or 5. Each booster increases XP gain by 25% for one hour, and will stack with the double XP weekend effect. Also featured this week are the Pocket D and Roman costume bundles. For more information see the official announcement and check the Paragon Market in-game.

Rikti to Invade This Friday

A Rikti World Invasion is scheduled for this coming weekend on all live servers. The invasion commences at 6AM PDT on Friday, August 3rd, and ends at 6AM PDT on Monday, August 6th. For more information, please see the official announcement.

This Week at the Paragon Market

This week sees 20% off the Super Pack: Heroes and Villains (Qty 24). There's also 50% off selected Enhancement Sets. Signature Story Arc 2: Episode 2

The second episode of the second Signature Story Arc, Pandora's Box, is now live. Free for VIP players and available in the Paragon Market for other players. Levels 35-50, contacts are Antonio Nash in Atlas Park and Lieutenant Harriman in Nerva Archipelago.

The search for Pandora's Box is underway. Every faction in Paragon City and the Rogue Isles vies to track down the legendary artifact. Heroes and villains will seek help from the gods, fight off rivals, and even travel through time to find the relic.

This Week at the Paragon Market

New and featured: Enhancement Increase #3 and #4. An account-wide storage increase that will allow each character on your account to have 10 more Enhancements Slots available. These add to the two increases that were previously available. 1600 Paragon Points (pp) for each increase

This week also sees 25% off Enhancement Unslotters and Enhancement Boosters. Also available are two Sets for improving Targeted AoE Damage at 50% off: Positron's Blast and the very rare Ragnarok. For more information see the official announcement and check the Paragon Market in-game.
