Black Friday Specials at the Paragon Market & NCsoft Store

NCsoft have featured a new costume part, the Pilgrim Hat, available now until 28th November. Also announced is a "Black Friday Sale", starting 25th November and running until the 28th. This sale features the City of Heroes Freedom™ VIP Starter Kit from the NCsoft store for only $0.99 (€0.79 / £0.59). The Paragon Market features buffs and boosters, account services, enhancements, and more at 50% to 80% off.

Loyalty Program / Pummit PowerPoints

NCsoft have announced the Salute to Statesman Loyalty Program. All players who maintain their VIP subscription from December 1, 2011, to March 31, 2012, will receive a range of unique rewards. These include a badge, costume pieces, costume change emote, a non-combat pet, and a new Aura.

Additionally, Zwillinger will be holding an extended Community Coffee Talk via UStream on November 23, 2011 (Wednesday), at 10:30AM Pacific. These PowerPoint presentations first accompanied the panel discussions at the Freedom Player Summit (Pummit) on November 19. The panels covered on the 23rd are: Endgame and Beyond (Incarnates, Dark Astoria, etc.), Things that make you go FREEM! (Powers and Archetypes), and Marketing. Server Publish: Bases Attack!

Last Tuesday's patch resolved most issues arising from the previous patch. NCsoft advised that for the time being, Base Defense Items in all bases (Paragon City and Isles) would become hostile and attack players. Base editors have been asked to delete or move such items for now.

Some players have been seen using this as an unexpected opportunity to create innovative RP within their bases. Please review the latest Patch Notes here and also Known Issues.

New on the Paragon Market

Wondering why the sudden canid invasion of Deutscher Schäferhund, man's best friend, otherwise known as the German Shepherd or Alsatian? Wonder no more! New at the Paragon Market is a new non-combat pet, the German Shepherd. "This playful companion follows you into danger, lounges lazily or scratches behind its ears."

Three transformation powers to change appearance to an NPC are available for a limited time (Rikti Mentalist, PPD Hard Suit, Carnival Harlequin). And a new aura, Autumn Path.

Thanksgiving for VIP Players

NCsoft have announced a Costume Contest, to be held on November 30, on the Exalted server (VIP players only). See the official announcement for more information and times.
