My Other Selves
Villain Morality Mission
You find an odd circle with a small button on it. Upon pressing the button, a small holographic image springs to life - and it's an image of you!
'Character, listen to me. I am you from many years in the future. I have spent nearly all of my incalculable power to send this message back in time so that you can correct the one critical flaw that I - you - made in my - our - master plan'.
Deep down inside, you know that the person you're seeing might truly... be you. And if it is - and in the future you can span time and space - then you MUST know what that mistake is... and see to it that you never make it!
WARNING: This is a Morality Mission. Completing this mission will change your alignment to Villain. Becoming a Villain means you will be unable to travel to Paragon City. Any ties to the heroic world will be lost.
- Learn where your master plan went wrong... and fix it!
WARNING: This is a Morality Mission. Completing this mission will maintain your current alignment of Villain, removing any progress you may have made on any other alignments.
Are you sure you want to do this?
- Learn where your master plan went wrong... and fix it!
You continue listening to the message sent by your future self.
'Crey Industries has a secret lab that they are using to conduct experiments on the time-space continuum. I found it many centuries ago, and this is where I - you - would begin forming your - my - master plan. Within the lab are three matrices they're using to open rifts in time. Encoded in this message are three keycodes that will locate me - you - in the past - er - in your future.
You MUST know what you did wrong or EVERYTHING will be ruined!
- Speak to your future self to learn your master plan!
Within the message projection device is the location of where your destiny lies. Go seek it out while you still have... time!
Unnecessary Solicitation
You still have a date with destiny. Find the Crey lab and use the keycode on the Time Matrix... then speak to yourself from the future!

Speak with your Future Self
|
---|
How is this possible? It's like I'm looking into the mirror, yet I'm so young. Explain yourself at once or I will snuff out your pitiful excuse for a life.
What?! That is the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard. Aha... This is some foolish trick Frostfire has come up with, isn't it?
Do you expect me to believe that you're me from the past, but yet you don't seem to know Frostfire is the bane of my - our - very existence? He is there to foil my every step! Even now, as my minions complete the serum I have spent decades perfecting, Frostfire and his hero sidekicks are battering down the doors to my base. And you! You interrupt me at my moment of triumph?!
Mistake?! I do NOT make mistakes, cretin! My immortality serum is PERFECT! How DARE YOU speak to me this way, insect! Now it is time for you to --
You hear a loud zapping sound coming from the direction of where the Primary Terminal was housed. |
Speak with your Far Future Self
|
---|
Note: Your Far Future Self will have a costume based on your current costume, modified to look more demonic. It sickens me to look at you - at what I once was. How is it possible that I - the most powerful being upon this world - came from this pitiful embryonic cluster of snot and pus that stands before me?
With a flick of the wrist, your future self fills you with the most excruciating pain you have ever felt in your existence. Another flick and it's over. Were anyone else within my empire to speak out of turn as you just did, well, I would pull out their skeleton through their mouth - and then let them die weeks later. However, I do not know what would happen were I to kill my own self in the past. You are pitiful because you could not stop Frostfire all those centuries ago. And now, he is all that stands in my way of global domination! ALL BECAUSE OF YOUR SIMPERING, PATHETIC WEAKNESS!
SILENCE! Your ignorance knows no bounds! Frostfire was there when I drank deeply from that mysterious well in the former continent of Europe! He, too, acquired the limitless power I now possess. BECAUSE OF YOU! Had you stopped him, he would not have supped from that ambrosia of the gods! I have exterminated all those upon the planet who dare to show an inkling of power, yet HE STILL MOCKS ME! But his time has now come. I will finally be rid of this thorn in my side.
I CARE NOTHING FOR THE QUESTIONING OF AN IGNORAMUS THE LIKES OF YOU! I have no desire to 'warn' you of anything. You failed. And now, centuries later, I shall be the one to correct the mistakes of my past - mistakes such as you. Even now, as I listen to your incessant prattling, my dear friend Frostfire is feeling his power ebbing away. Even he can not withstand the soul-draining effects of Nethermatter. This is where our conversation ends, my shame. I now depart to finish off my lifelong nemes--
You hear a loud zapping sound coming from the direction of where the Secondary Terminal was housed. |
Speak with the Ultimate You
|
---|
Note: The Ultimate You will have a costume based on your current costume, modified to look more angelic. Ah... It is good to look upon a person again after all these millennia, even if it is only myself from the past. I knew you would be able to find me.
Yes, it was I. I am you from thousands of years in the future. Or rather, you're me from thousands of years in the past. It required the power of a god to break the timestream to get you this message, and a god I am.
Not 'a' god. The only god. And this is why I need to warn you of the greatest mistake I made - you will make. We stole the power of the gods forever ago - or many years in your future, from your point of view. A man named Frostfire was there in the chamber, pleading for me - us - to not drink from source of the gods. He was standing in front of that well as he begged for me not to go through with it. I could have pushed him in and taken all the power for myself, but in my hubris I chose to taunt him instead. For just a few moments, the same amount of time it took to insult my former foe, I could have prevented the greatest failure I have ever performed. But with this knowledge I give you, YOU CAN CHANGE THE FUTURE!
No! You don't understand! That power was meant for him! Not me! He drew from the well, but only half of it. It wasn't enough to stop me from killing him with Nethermatter. The Nethermatter was as dangerous to me as it was to him, for we each possessed only one half of the power of the gods. If he would have had all the power, he would have been invulnerable to the Nethermatter. Perhaps he would have been powerful enough to even create life itself!
Yes. It was the source of creation. However... Had I listened to him instead of insulting him - had I turned away from my deadly course - had I understood that my path only led to destruction... Then he would have taken all that power unto himself... and used it to turn the world into a paradise Man has only ever been able to dream of. But instead I used that power to ERADICATE all life on the planet. All life in the galaxy. And yet I still live. All alone. For the rest of Eternity.
Yes! And that is why I speak to you now. You can change that one moment in your near future. You can do what is right. Why are you looking at me that way? Your eyes... they burn in a way mine did when...
No... No, you musn't! You must give the power to Frostfire or we're doomed!

Mission Exit
You - from thousands of years in the future - attempted to sway you towards the pathetic and pitiful path of righteousness.
Instead, you learned how to become a being of untold power one day. And you can make sure this happens with nothing more than one short, swift kick to the face.
In time, your master plan will be fully realized. In time.
