Tech version

The Micro-Emitter Repulsor Field (MERF) combines unobtrusive installation with high-energy repulsion. When activated, the MERF releases a powerful non-damaging charge capable of flinging opponents away.

Arcane version

This small device has been enchanted with a spell of polarity. Any foe who comes close to it will be struck with a powerful repulsion wave that can fling him away from the artifact.
