One Rogue's Work, Another Rogue's Pay (40-50)

Rogue Morality Mission

You come across what appears to be an ancient scroll. Unfolding it, you see the scroll carries a chip. You decide to do some investigation and get the chip analyzed. The chip mentions a certain website to go to. You find the website, which looks to be for an old paper company. You're able to use the informations from the chip to get into the heart of the website, which turns out to be about a Malta operation. You read further to find out about their last actions...

We've taken part of Striga Isle for ourselves in order to move forward with this last operation. During this time, we have also captured three supers: Savage Siren, Silent Blade, and Stardusk. As well, we have confiscated a number of items they've obtained through their jobs they have pulled in the Rogue Isles and Paragon City. We plan on analyzing these three for any combat strengths and then killing them. We will then distribute the expensive items they've found to our various operatives to see if they can be used to further fund our projects. Once that is done, the Titan Operation on Striga Isle will commence.

WARNING: This is a Morality Mission. Completing this mission will change your alignment to Rogue. Being a Rogue means you will be able to move between Paragon City and the Rogue Isles.

Some may think it's not right to steal the hard-earned work of others. However, you like to see it as taking payment from those who would otherwise not pay you for saving their lives. After all, this is what's best for everyone, isn't it? Especially if you consider that you're fighting Malta. Nobody enjoys going up against those guys, so it's all the better that you deserve some payment for this!

You'll have to somehow make your way to Striga Sile, then strike at Malta while there's still time left!

You have to hurry, otherwise the goods you're after may be long gone! Not to menion those people you're supposed to rescue.

You arrive in Striga Isle to see Malta has indeed taken over this entire part of the island. You'll have to find your payment first before making any moves to save those supers.

Savage Siren dialogue

Before Combat: Savage Siren: Hrmph... here I thought my life would've ended in a much different way. Tactical Operative: There's no room in this world for people like you. Upon approaching: Savage Siren: Character?! Tactical Operative: Stay out of our business, Character! After Combat: I don't know why you saved me, but you have my thanks. I need to go to find the goods they took from me! Watch out for a guard named Hawk 5-8-9, he'll be able to activate all the Zeus Titans in this area if you're not careful!

Before Combat: Get a radio in to the Kronos tech. We need to get that up and off the ground. I'll get the Zeus Titans here ready. Upon approaching: We're under attack, MHI in progress!

Silent Blade dialogue
Before Combat: Silent Blade: End this now. Do not draw the process out longer than it needs to be Operation Engineer: With pleasure. Gunslinger: I hope this pays well. Upon approaching: Silent Blade: Character. Tactical Operative: We've got an MHI! Target is Character! After Combat: You have my thanks. But this does not mean that I owe you.

Stardusk dialogue

Before Combat: Stardusk: No! Why can't you just leave this be? Sapper: You tried to play Malta. That was a very dangerous mistake. Upon approaching: Stardusk: Character, give me a hand here! Sapper: How many more supers do we have to kidnap today?! After Combat: Things went south real fast back there. Just as a heads up, they've got some tech coming in to start that Kronos Titan. If I were you, I'd take him out, or else that Titan will mow you and the rest of us down!

Before Combat: Just give me a few moments to configure everything for the Kronos... When attacked: Character, don't you understand? You can't win, not against us!

Mission Exit

Now that the situation is settled, you're able to look at all the loot you acquired, and it is all very good. Silent Blade stole a number of magical artifacts, Savage Siren had several bits of expensive technology, and Stardusk had several dufflebags filled with money! All in a day's work for you. Maybe you should look into rescuing these three more often!
