Empowerment Station
Overview
EDITOR'S NOTE: As of December 2nd 2008 and the release of "Issue 13: Power and Responsibility" all base salvage has been removed from recepies and replaced with invention salvage. As such all crafting requirements listed below have changed and need to be updated. Information pertaining to the salvage required to create a buff is therefore obsolete. Updated information is forthcoming.
Empowerment Stations are base items that perform two functions. First, they craft component salvage from normal base salvage, based upon which type of station they are (Arcane or Tech). A tech station can craft every kind of tech component salvage and an arcane station can likewise craft every kind of arcane component salvage.
A station's primary function, however, is to grant temporary buffs that are crafted from component salvage. The list of available buff recipes is in the Empowerment Buffs folder in the station's menu. Each level of station can make all buffs available from lower-level stations as well as its own. All empowerment buffs last for one hour of in game time (the in-game text incorrectly says 15 minutes). The buff takes effect immediately upon crafting. They will persist even if your character is defeated.
The tier I stations are used to craft the tier II stations, which in turn are used to craft the tier III stations.
