Overview

Force Composition is a secondary power set for Guardians.

"Mastery of 'Force Composition' allows you to manipulate potent force fields and throw concussive blasts, shielding yourself and allies while hampering foes"

The Force Composition power set is available as a secondary set for Guardians. The following table shows the level at which each power is available:

Powers

ForceComposition ContainmentShell.png Containment Shell

Projects a Containment Shell to pull in and capture foes in a targeted location. This hollow force field shell immobilizes and exerts a strong attractive force on any foe that attempts to cross its boundary, pulling them into the shell's interior, though more powerful foes may be able to resist. The attractive force also prevents foes from being pushed out of the shell, preventing jumping, making affected foes immune to Repel effects, and causing Knockback effects to be reduced to Knockdown. Containment Shell's attract effect can still affect a target that has been captured by Barrier Field.

ForceComposition DispersionBubble.png Dispersion Bubble

Creates a large bubble which protects all allies inside. While active, the Dispersion Bubble gives all allies within increased Defense against all attack types. The Dispersion Bubble also protects allies from Immobilization, Disorient, and Hold effects.

DarkComposition HowlingTwilight.png Howling Twilight

Activating this power channels the power of the Netherworld to weaken your foes, in an attempt to revive all nearby fallen allies. You must stand near your defeated allies to revive them, then select a foe. The selected foe and all nearby foes will be Slowed, Disoriented, have their Regeneration rate reduced and drained of some life. Revived allies will have full Hit Points and Endurance and will be protected from XP Debt for 90 seconds.

DarkComposition MurkyHaze.png Murky Haze

You create a Murky Haze enshrouding you. This haze can absorb most forms of energy, making you more resistant to Fire, Cold and Negative Energy attacks, as well as Endurance Drain effects. It also grants you resistance to powers that DeBuff your Accuracy.

DarkComposition ObsidianShield.png Obsidian Shield

You can create a special Obsidian Shield that grants good resistance to Psionic damage. With your mind enshrouded in darkness you are protected from Sleep, Fear, Hold and Disorient attacks.

DarkComposition ShadowFall.png Shadow Fall

Envelops you and your nearby teammates in a shroud of darkness. Shadow Fall does not grant Invisibility, but it does make you harder to detect. Even if you are discovered, Shadow Fall grants a bonus to Defense bonus to all attacks and Resistance to Fear, while reducing Energy, Negative Energy, and Psionic Damage. You cannot use any other Concealment type power while using Shadow Fall.

DarkComposition SoulAbsorption.png Soul Absorption

You drain the essence of both nearby conscious and defeated foes to cause you and your allies to regenerate and recovery much more quickly. The more defeated foes affected, the more powerful the regeneration and recovery effect will be.

Drops a large patch of viscous Negative Energy which dramatically slows down enemies that run through it and reduces their damage resistance. Affected targets stuck in the Tar Patch cannot jump or fly. Recharge: Slow

DarkComposition TwilightGrasp.png Twilight Grasp

You channel Negative Energy from the Netherworld through yourself to a targeted foe. Twilight Grasp drains the power from that target and slowly transfers it to you and all nearby allies. The targeted foe's chance to hit, damage and regeneration rate are reduced, while you and your nearby allies are healed.
