Mutated Samples have been in game for well over two years now (assuming we're counting CoV beta when they where added..) and I have a number of them on my main character as well as in sg base storage. Mutating Genomes are relatively new comers to the salvage world, just being added in with i9. Just to make sure, I went and checked the market, and both are indeed there. What probably happened to you was that you where looking at only invention salvage, instead of all the salvage. It really does happen to everyone too @.@ sometimes the drop down lists are a bit to easy to click on the wrong one.
