: Just did some double checking, Kronos definitely won't spawn in Peregrine Island, Rikti War Zone, and Croatoa.  I popped in each of these zones, waited about 5 minutes each, wandered around a bit just in case I was in an area that it wouldn't spawn (see my Striga entry above), and he finally spawned when I went to Talos.  {{User:StarGeek/sig}} 19:50, 6 November 2008 (UTC)

Ambush zones

Krystallas on Protector did some testing on which zones the Titan can be spawned in. (Original post which is subject to purge.)

Okay, for Badge or anyone else that may be interested, I tested where the Kronos Titan can and cannot be spawned.

Zones that spawned a titan:

  • Abandoned Sewers
  • Boomtown
  • Brickstown
  • Crey's
  • DA
  • Eden
  • FBZ*
  • Founder's
  • Hollows
  • IP
  • King's
  • Perez
  • Skyway
  • Steel
  • Talos
  • The Hive

Zones that did not spawn a titan:

  • Atlas
  • Bloody Bay**
  • Cascades*
  • Chantry*
  • Croatoa
  • Faultline
  • Galaxy
  • PI
  • RV**
  • RWZ
  • Sewers
  • Siren's**
  • Storm Palace*
  • Striga
  • Terra Volta
  • Warburg**

* The shard was a little strange. When I first tried in FBZ, I thought it didn't work and was heading back when I got attacked near the portals in the base itself. However, when I tried the others, I didn't get attacked on the way back through FBZ. Normally, if you try to spawn in a zone that won't, the "ambush flag" stays on until you reach a zone that does. It's possible it spawned farther away and then fell off trying to get to me.

** I seem to remember it used to be possible to spawn Kronos in a PvP zone, but then they changed it. So I only actually tried it in one zone, and when that didn't work, I figured it wouldn't spawn in any of the PvP zones.

Just tested it on Ouroboros, it doesn't appear possible to spawn the titan there as well. The troll tunnels still need to be check, if only for completeness. -- StarGeekTalk page 23:30, 3 December 2007 (UTC)
