Overview

/suppressCloseFxDist distance

Sets the distance at which all graphics effects of a character's powers are shown when the suppressCloseFx option is set. When the camera is closer than this distance, all graphics effects generated by a character's own powers are suppressed.

distance is a float value. The default value for this setting is 0.0, which indicates that the power effects will be suppressed when the camera is in first-person mode.

Note that this command does not affect auras created within the costume editor, and does not affect the display of other characters' or NPCs' powers.
