Overview

Hortha Vines are one of two fixed transport methods between areas of the Shadow Shard. During Dr. Boyd's first mission, you receive a quick primer on Hortha Vines from Lt. Volkov.

Connections

The following points are connected by Hortha Vines:

• Firebase November (Firebase Zulu) - The Marooned Shores (Cascade Archipelago)
• The Chanting Islands (Cascade Archipelago) - Path of Tears (The Chantry)
• Path of Rage (The Chantry) - Path of Madness (The Storm Palace)

The Firebase Zulu intra-Shard portals drop you off near the Hortha Vine mouths at The Marooned Shores, the Path of Tears, and the Path of Madness. This makes it easy to get to the "far end" of each zone except The Storm Palace.
