Overview

You are thrust through time into a time-lost gladiatorial arena. To escape, you must defeat the three champions of the coliseum and their bizarre and dangerous henchmen. Waiting for the most brilliant and deadly of combatants, at the end of it all, is the great God-Champion. Deadly assassins, gun-slinging outlaws, cybernetic soldiers, and mythical monsters come at you tooth and nail in a frenzied and ferocious battle! Sway the arena's crowd with your ferocity or cleverness to gain valuable buffs in this quintessential combat set piece.

In Detail

Introduction

During the course of this event you build favor with the crowd depending on the level of success, or failure, you reach during each phase.

Upon defeat of contestants:

Phase 1 - Cornutus and His Handmaidens

The first phase features the Minotaur Cornutus and his two handmaidens.

Phase 2 - Deadly Ninja Assassins

This phase features Ninjas spawning at various gates of the arena.

Phase 3 - Frank McCain and His Maulers

This phase features Frank "Hunnerd Yard" McCain, a Dual Pistols mastermind, and his beast henchmen: Butch, Lee, Petey, and Killer. Two dogs will spawn at first, then Killer last.

Phase 4 - Rikti Monkeys

This phase features Rikti monkeys spawning at various gates, just as the Ninjas previously.

Phase 5 - Cyberwarriors

This phase features two large warriors in suits of Mecha Armor -- Apocalypse and Armageddon. They will self-destruct when defeated, followed by the spawning of Gotterdammerung from their ashes.

Bonus Phase - God Champion

This phase only appears if you reach a rating of 500 crowd favor. The God Champion will spawn lesser versions of Cornutus, Frank McCain, and Gotterdammerung, to assist him during the battle.
