Vanguard Costume Set

Overview

The Vanguard Costume Set is unlocked on a per-character basis by crafting the individual pieces on Vanguard Crafting Tables located in the Vanguard base within the Rikti War Zone. Obtaining the costume pieces in this manner requires a minimum level of 35, the level at which a character may begin earning Vanguard Merits. A total of 1,050 Vanguard Merits and 40,000 inf is required to craft every costume piece. The set includes 14 costume pieces (plus variations) and nine weapon customizations, as well as one related emote and one power.

Costume Bundle

The Vanguard Costume Bundle is available on the Paragon Market for 400 Paragon Points. If purchasing all the pieces separately, they would cost 1155pp total. Obtaining the pieces in this manner, or by having purchased the formerly-available Vanguard Pack, allows their use during character creation.

Bug! Normally, when a character buys one of these Vanguard costume pieces from a Vanguard crafting table, the costume disappears from the table's list of costume recipes so that you can't waste Vanguard Merits and Inf by buying the same pieces several times over. However, if your account has received the Vanguard Pack and thus, all your characters already have all the Vanguard costume pieces, the costume recipes are not removed from the Vanguard table and it is possible to waste Vanguard Merits and Inf by 'buying' costume pieces to which your character already has access.
